Massage Cancellation Policy.
- By booking a massage appointment with rcvroom, you agree to the terms of this policy.
- Cancelling your appointment. To cancel, use the link in your booking confirmation email. The notice period is counted from the time rcvroom receives your cancellation.
- 48 hours' notice or more. If you cancel 48 hours or more before your appointment, you'll receive a full refund minus an administration fee of 5% of the appointment fee.
- Between 24 and 48 hours' notice. If you cancel less than 48 hours but 24 hours or more before your appointment, you'll receive a refund of 50% of the appointment fee, minus an administration fee of 5% of the appointment fee.
- Less than 24 hours' notice. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, no refund is given.
- Missed appointments and late arrival. If you don't attend, no refund is given. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time, and the full fee applies.
- Consultation form. All clients must complete a Client Consultation and Informed Consent (CaIC) form before their appointment. If, based on your completed form, rcvroom decides massage treatment isn't appropriate, your appointment will be cancelled and you'll receive a full refund minus an administration fee of 5% of the appointment fee.
- Face-to-face consultation. If, after a face-to-face consultation, rcvroom decides massage treatment isn't appropriate, the appointment is non-refundable, as the therapist's time and the treatment room have already been committed to your appointment.
- Cancellations by rcvroom. If rcvroom cancels your appointment, including a promotional appointment, you'll receive a full refund minus an administration fee of 5% of the appointment fee.
- Promotional appointments. Promotional appointments are non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled by the client.
- Refusal of treatment. rcvroom will not refuse treatment unreasonably. However, rcvroom reserves the right to refuse treatment if a client arrives with poor personal hygiene, or if the therapist judges the client unfit for treatment (for example, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances, or for any other reason). These appointments are non-refundable. rcvroom may offer to reschedule the treatment. rcvroom's decision is final.
- Administration fee. The administration fee covers non-refundable payment processing costs and the time taken to process your refund.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of your cancellation and returned to the original payment method. Once processed, they usually take 5–10 working days to appear on your statement.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
